Age 79, of Sambro. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather on November 5, 2014. He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his many friends. He was a diehard Toronto Blue Jays Fan and he never missed a rerun of "Murder She Wrote" until his final days.
He loved listening to his Newfoundland music as well as spending time with his grandchildren whether it be attending a hockey game, piano recital or Christmas concert.
Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy(Gray) and their children, Crystal(Sam), Sambro; Tessie(Mike), Halifax; Myles, Alberta; Lee(Jason), Halifax. He was a loving Poppy to his four grandchildren, Austin, Dale, Connor and Jillian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
