Obituary of Shelly Anne (Julian) Duval

Age 39, of Halifax passed away suddenly on June 16, 2014. Born on October 9, 1974, she was the only child of Judith Anne Marie Walsh. Shelly will be remembered for her passion for the arts and music with a particular love for Jon Bon Jovi. Shelly could always be found singing her heart out around the house. She leaves behind her son Dylan, Halifax; husband Chris Julian, Halifax; step daughters Holly (Scott Kelly) Schnare, Halifax, Melissa (Jason Jollimore) Schnare, Halifax; grandchildren Cody, Riley and Myles; cousins Theresa Sampson and Janet Coombs; godmother and Aunt Debbie Walsh Hill (Jim Hill) and godfather and Uncle Tim (Wendy Walsh) Walsh as well as god daughter Kreenara Leaman. Shelly was pre-deceased by her nephew Michael and grandparents Marie and Roy Walsh. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax (477-5601) where a visitation will take place from 2-4pm on Sunday June 22, 2014. A service of remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel Monday June 23, 2014 at 2pm with a reception to follow. Rev. Gordon Relf officiating.
