Obituary of Edna Pottle

Pottle, Edna- Age 86, of Halifax passed away peacefully in her sleep at the QEII Health Sciences Center on May 3, 2014. Edna was a daughter of the late John and Leah Pottle. Edna leaves behind her sister Evelyn (Albert) Bond; nieces Linda Thorburn and Marion Amon; nephews Wayne Pottle and Wilson Pottle; great nieces Meghan and Melanie Thorburn; great great niece Khloe Rossetti as well as many other nephews, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Edna was heavily involved at New Testament Baptist Church. She loved to share her faith with others as well as reading her bible, cooking and going for long walks. Edna enjoyed socializing with others at VON sponsored group Breakaway. She was predeceased by sisters Ethel, Mary, Suzy, Minnie, Lucy and brothers Clarence and William. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax (477-5601) where a visitation will take place on Tuesday May 6 from 12-2pm followed by a service of remembrance at the funeral home chapel.
