Obituary of Margaret Rose McCarvell (Paul)

Age 80, Halifax, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2014. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Janet (MacPherson) Paul. Margaret was the owner/proprietor of the Stornoway Gift Shop, Historic Properties. She is survived by loving husband, John; sons, Steven (Kathy), Roderick (Catherine), Andrew; daughter, Jacquelyn (Andy); loving grandmother of Jessica, Scott, Brandon, Jordan, Ryan, Logan and Maggie Jane; brother, John Paul (Florence); sister-in-law, Jean (Dr. Bernie MacLean) and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, James, Robert, Joseph and Douglas; sister, Jenny Tyndall. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday February 21 at 11:00a.m. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to charity of one’s choice.
