Obituary of Peggy Jane Brown (Kendrick)

Age 70, Halifax, passed away January 28, 2014 in Northwood Center. Born in Shelburne, she is the daughter of Edna (Shand) and the late Henry Kendrick. She is survived by  brothers, David Kendrick (Geraldine), Woods Harbour; Dell Kendrick, Brockville, Ont.; sisters Priscilla Gordon(Doug), Port Elgin, Ont.; brother-in-law, Morris Brown, Halifax; aunt, Helen Shand, Barrington; several neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Brown and a sister in infancy. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held Friday January 31 from 1-2 p.m. Service Of Remembrance to follow at 2p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Adele Crowell officiating. Reception to follow.  Service of Rememberance  in Shag Harbour on March 7. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Council of The Blind – Sports and Recreation Halifax or the Canadian Red Cross. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Northwood Center and special friend Cleon Smith and Susan for all there care and compassion given to Peggy.
