Obituary of Barbara "Babs" G. Elliott

ELLIOTT, Barbara "Babs" Gertrude – 90, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Northwood Center. Born in Purcells Cove, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Lannon) Keddy. Babs was a long time member of the Golden Age Social Club and the Earl Francis Spryfield Memorial Legion, Branch 152. She will lovingly be remembered by her beloved cousin, Eva Kedy and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; brothers, Frank and Gerald; sister, Helen. A special thank you to niece, Madelyn Ruhloff for her continuous care and support through the years. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where visitation will take place on Monday, September 9 from 10 – 11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Babs’ memory may be made to the SPCA.
