Obituary of Diana Marie Drysdale

Age 62, Halifax, passed away peacefully surrounded by family August 26, 2013, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Ruth (Brewer) and the late Chesley Hynes. She is survived by son, Greg Drysdale (Darcy); daughter Gail Pearson (Mike); brothers, Reg Hynes (Carol); Dave Hynes (Dawnelda); Glen Hynes (Claire); Kevin Hynes(Trish); Gary Hynes (Shelly); Wade Hynes; sisters, Gail Arnold (Richard); Deborah Martin (Israel); Cathy MacGillivray (Ray); Lana Beaver (Joe); mother-in-law, Marion Drysdale; brother-in-law, Gary Drysdale (Evelyn); sister-in-laws, Gail Hall (Trevor); Margaret Sullivan (Gary); grandchilren, Bailey Rachel Drysdale, Tyler Gregory Pearson, Katelyn Diana Dorothy Pearson, and several neices and nephews.  Diana was predeceased by her husband, Garnet Drysdale and father-in-law, Benjamin Drysdale. Arrangement are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). No visitation by request. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, August 31, at 2p.m. from St. Paul’s United Church, Old Sambro Rd., Reverend Jeannie Manning-Stright officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory, may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
