Obituary of Charles "Charlie" Norris

NORRIS, Charles Vincent "Charlie"- 84, Lower Prospect, passed away July 31, 2013 in the V.G Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Grantham) Norris. Charlie is survived by loving wife Gloria (Wallage); daughters, Sherlene Higgins (Paul), Lower Prospect; Brenda Quinn (William "Billy"), Whites Lake; Bonnie Slaunwhite, Halifax; brothers, Harold and George, both of Lower Prospect; grandchildren; Monica Higgins, Natalie and Christopher Quinn, Evan and Colton Slaunwhite; great grandson Mason Quinn and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Cyril, Patrick, Joseph Jr. and Arthur in infancy; sisters, Theresa Blackburn and Marie Norris. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). No visitation by request. Funeral mass will be held Saturday August 3 at 11a.m. , form St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Shad Bay, Fr.
