Obituary of Emily Merle Nobles

91, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Cape Breton, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Ella (Howard) King. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by daughters, Carol (John), Sharon (Harold), Patricia (Gerry); son, Ian (Joan); grandchildren, Tara (Michale), James, Matthew (Shanna) and Adam (Marie), great grandchildren Kiana and Brayden, sister, Louise (Gordon) and brother Ken. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry; grandson, Seth; brother, Howard (Margaret) and sister, Helen (Ken).  She served in the military as a Sargent during the Second World War.  Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, NS (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Friday, July 12 from 5-8 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with a reception to follow. Interment to take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Feed Nova Scotia.
