Obituary of Ernest Patrick Sr. "Ernie" Boudreau

BOUDREAU, Ernest Patrick "Ernie" Sr. – 74, Lakeside. It is with great sadness that the family of Ernest Patrick Boudreau announces his passing on Monday, June 17, 2013 in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Little Dover, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Harold and Margaret (Ehler) Boudreau. Ernie enjoyed many things and was taken too soon. He was the heart of the family and was loved by many. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Violet Mary; daughters, Lisa (John), Kathi and Wendy; sons, Ernie (Shelly) and Duane (Jody); 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as a large extended family. He was predeceased by daughter, Carol and son, Vernon. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 21 at 10 AM in St. Marguerite of Bourgeoys Parish, Timberlea. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Family flowers only. Donations in Ernie’s memory may be made to the QEII Foundation.
