Obituary of John R. Cramsie

Cramsie, John R. – Halifax, passed away April 20, 2013, surrounded by his family.  He was at the Veterans Memorial Nursing Home where the care given by all the staff was unsurpassed. After serving in WW2, he pursued a career as chemist in both the textile and pulp and paper industries.  He lived in Monroe, N.Y. and Halifax, N.S. Known for his gentlemanly and kindly ways, his hearty laugh and sense of humour, he is greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves his wife Marilyn; daughter Lyn (Randy Vite); son Alec (Gail Cramsie) and six grandchildren: Johnny, Randy-Marilyn, Brian, Eric; Ceilidh and Alexandra. A private family service will take place at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Gardens.
