Obituary of Mildred B. Walsh

WALSH, Mildred Babe – 91, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2013 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Lillian Davie. Mildred was a loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank; son, Dennis; grandchildren, Darryl and Cheryllyn Walsh; great-grandchild, Amira Stanton-Walsh; sisters, Frances Thompson and Florence Langille; niece, Sharon Langille; nephews, David Thompson and Ronald Langille. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth; brother, Percy; sisters, Eileen and Kathleen. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 2PM, from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Pleasant HillCemetery. Donations in Mildred’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
