Obituary of Sandra Marion Duncan (Henneberry)

65, Halifax, passed away March 13, 2013, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Sambro, Sandy was a daughter of Harold Henneberry and the late Geraldine (MacFarlane) Henneberry. Sandra is survived by her son, William "Billy" Blackburn (Paula); daughter Judy Ossinger (Alan), both of Williamswood; brothers, Darrell Henneberry (Judy) Port Aux Basques, NL, Carter Henneberry (Eleanor), Sambro; sisters, Patricia Gray (Danny), Sambro, Angela Garrison, Halifax; grandchildren Brett and Mitchell Blackburn, Michael (Natalie) Henneberry, Britney (Freddie) Whitehead; and Katie Henneberry, great grandchildren Aiden, Shaemus and Grayson, several nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her special friend Missy. She was predeceased by brother Wade Henneberry, sister Judy Hovey, grandson Jacob Blackburn and companion Philip Lecoq. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service and interment will be held Sunday March 17 at 2:00 p.m., in the St. James United Church Cemetery, Sambro, Rev. Jean Henneberry officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Sandy's name to a charity of your choice.
