Obituary of Darlene Beverly Comeau

COMEAU, Darlene Beverly – 53, Whites Lake, passed away peacefully after an 8 year battle on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, surrounded by family at the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Don and Maureen (Armsworthy) Micheau. Darlene enjoyed travelling and took many memorable trips. She also loved spending time with friends and family at the trailer.  She will lovingly be remembered and never forgotten by her husband of 33 years, John; daughters, Michelle (Mike Umlah) and Amanda (Glen Higgins); grandchildren, Alexander and Samantha; brother, Donnie (Diane) Micheau; sister, Denice (Neil) Mapplebeck. She was predeceased by brother, Brian Micheau; maternal grandparents, Spencer and Erma Armsworthy.   Special thanks to Dr. Jim Bentley who always went above and beyond and for taking the time out of his busy schedule whenever he was needed. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, March 11 at 11AM from the funeral home chapel; reception to follow at the Golden Age Club. Interment will take place at a later date.
