Obituary of Eileen Marie Conway (Bardsley)

CONWAY, Eileen Marie: passed away at age 94 on March 1, 2013 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born October 24, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Eileen (Sullivan) Bardsley. She is survived by sons, Robert (Venita), Halifax; Garry (Pamela), King City, Ont., daughter-in-law Audrey, Hardwoodlands, grandchildren David (Donna) Conway, Whites Lake; Steven (Kimberley) Conway, Still Water; Mark (Nancy) Conway, Bayside; Kendra (Clyde) Smith, Newport; and Kelly (Eric) Maguire, Shubenacadie; eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Eileen was predeceased by James (Gus) Conway, Her husband of 60 years; son Kenneth and sister Dorothy Daniels. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a memorial service will be held Saturday March 9 at 11:00a.m., Rev. Jeannie Manning Stright officiating. Reception to follow. Interment to take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Lower Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
