Obituary of Sonia Misener

Misener, Sonia Ann:  44, Harrietsfield, NS, loving wife of Brent James Misener, whom she married on December 28, 2012, passed away on January 3, 2013.  Born in Toronto, Ontario, she was a daughter of Calvin and the late Shirley Misener.  She is survived by her husband, Brent, her treasured son, Johnathan, her father, Calvin, sister, Patsy Slaunwhite (Ray), Lake Echo, brothers, Al (Brenda), Antigonish, Larry (Ellen), Saskatoon, and Gordon (Marcella), Eastern Passage, and Charles (Jill), Williamswood, as well as her grandchildren, Brandon Misener and Jacob Carter.  She was predeceased by her mother, Shirley.             Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, (477.5601) where visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A service in memory of Sonia will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 4PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
