Obituary of Terry Wayne Fleming

FLEMING, Terry Wayne – 39, Harrietsfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Douglas and Darlene (Fleet) Fleming. Terry enjoyed fishing, music, playing video games and painting, but most of all he loved spending time with his kids, Tyler, MacKenzie and Blake. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Tyler, MacKenzie and Blake; grandson, Landen; sisters, Nadine Marriott and Cindy Waite; maternal grandmother, Vivian Fleet; paternal grandmother, Marie Fleming; niece, Taralee and nephew, Trenton; godparents, Robert and Flora Chinn; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his dogs, Shady and Banks. He was predeceased by his brother in-law, Terry Marriott; maternal grandfather, Gerald Fleet and paternal grandfather, Clement Fleming. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Monday, October 22 from 11 AM – 1 PM with a service of remembrance to be held at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s memory may be made to the family.
