Obituary of Douglas Selvin Graves

81, River John, passed away April 15, 2012 at the Aberdeen Regional Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Selvin and Thelma (Longard) Graves. Douglas is survived by son; Roy (Sherry), Pictou Co., sisters; Lois (Terry) Tingley, Bayside, Shirley Graves, Ontario; brother-in-law Kenneth MacDonald; sister-in-law Leora Graves; grandchildren Travis and Jenna. He is predeceased by wife Fay (Balcombe), brother; Maxwell, sister Delores MacDonald. No visitation by request. Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). A graveside service will be held Wednesday April 18 at 2:45 p.m. at the Bayside Baptist Cemetery, Prospect Rd.,Rev. Terry Tingley and Pastor Vicki Brown officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
