Obituary of Agnes Marie Mills

88, Halifax, passed away peacefully December 17, 2011 in Parkstone Enhanced Care.  Born in Sheet Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Florence (Butler) Richards.  She is survived by sons; Michael (Susan) Kitchener, ON, Alexander "Sandy" (Linda) Victoria, BC, daughter; Dana (Brian) Windsor, brothers; Gerald and Roy (Edna), both of Sheet Harbour, sisters; Faye Vryenhoek and Joan Deveau, both of Halifax, Marion MacDonald, Sheet Harbour; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Agnes was predeceased by her husband Alexander ‘Alex’, daughters; Ann Seymour, Sharon Chalker, Alexina, brother; Lloyd, sister; Bernice Goneau; granddaughter Tammy Pinel.  Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road (477-5601), where a memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, December 22.  Private family interment to take place. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Cottage or QEII, Palliative Care.
