Obituary of Deborah Barbara Steeves

57, Lanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 25,2011 in the QE II Palliative Care Unit. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Drysdale) Hallett. Deborah is survived by loving husband Stephen, sons; Stephen (Andrea), Sandy both of Bedford, Robert (Paula), Sackville, brothers; Ronald “Jeep” (Heather), Halifax, Robert (Kathy), Sackville, Frank “Sam” (Susan), Oshawa, ON., sisters; Donna Hallett, Frances Hallett-Bennett both of Halifax, Carolyn Benoit (Arthur), White’s Lake, Valerie Cameron (Steve), Dartmouth, Dianne Leigh Boutilier (Eric), Queensland, grandchildren; Zack, Haley, Ryan, Johnathan, Kyle, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Geraldine Hallett-MacDonald and granddaughter Kylie Dawn. Arrangements under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be held Tuesday March 29, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday March 31 at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel, Rev. Russell Saulnier officiating. Interment to take place in Fairview Lawn Cemetery Halifax, followed by a reception. Memorial donations in Deborah’s name may be made to the QE II Palliative Care Unit.
