Obituary of Deborah M. Debbie Marriott

Marriott, Debbie Marie: 60, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the QEII Health Science Center, VG Site, with her loving family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, great friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Debbie loved camping and the outdoors. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna (MacPhee) Marriott. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Watson. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Tammy Russell (Rob), sisters, Sandra Zinck (Kenny); Beverley Harnish (Graham); Marlene Shaw (Steve); brothers, Terry (Darlene), Robert (Darlene), Harold (Cathy); Pat (Gail), grandson Jeremy, sisters-in-law, Donna and Cindy, many nieces and nephews, as well as her best friends, Kathy, Mauretta and David. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Gary, Darrell, Billy and Ricky, and grandson, Stephen. The family extends special thanks to all the nurses and doctors of 7A Palliative Care for their exceptional and compassionate care given to Debbie. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601). In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
