Obituary of Edward Nathan Ed Brewer

81, Kline Heights, Halifax, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2011 in The Sagewood Continuing Care, Sackville. Born in Halifax, he was a a son of the late Alonzo and Mary (Dean) Brewer. Ed is survived by son, Mark (Charlene), Halifax; daughters, Pauline (Tom) Higgins, Brookfield, Kathleen (Rick) Murphy, Pheonix, AZ. USA., Christine (Mark) Puigmarti, Port Perry, ON., Marlene White (Robert), Halifax; sister, Hazel Albert, Dartmouth; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife, Marilyn (Carroll), son, Edward, daughter, Maureen, brothers, Cleve, Gordon, Stan, Kenny, sisters, Nettie and Mildred. No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where there will be a memorial service Wednesday November 2, at 1 p.m., reception to follow.
