Obituary of Norman Chester Norm Latimer

62, Dartmouth, N.S. passed away October 29th, 2011. Born in Sydney, he was the cherished son of John and Cora Mary (Shaw) Latimer. Surviving are his adoring wife Deborah; his sister Margie and brother-in-law Ken Power; his mother Cora Mary Latimer; and nephews Jarrett and Matthew Power. Norm was generous of heart and spirit and will be remembered with great affection not only by his family and colleagues (and many students) at St. Mary’s University, but also by all those whose life was enriched by his friendship. A celebration of Life in Norm’s honour will take place in Loch Lomond, Cape Breton, in August, 2012. Memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA or other animal shelter.
