Obituary of Richard William LeBlanc

67,Halifax, passed away after a battle with cancer on March 3,2011 in the QEII Palliative Care. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Genesta (Richards) LeBlanc. Richard had retired from the shipyards as an electrician. He is survived by loving wife Kathleen (Brake), daughters, Robin and Karen both of Halifax; grandchildren Nolan and Andrea; brothers Gerald (Eileen), Charles Cove, Charles (Shirley),Halifax, Maurice (Elaine) Chester, sisters Marie LeBlanc, Calgary AB., Myrna Kane, Belmont; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Arrangement under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601) where visitation will be held Sunday March 6 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., with funeral mass to take place Tuesday March 8 at 11a.m from St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Frank Pellerin as celeberant. Followed by reception in the church hall. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
