Obituary of Robert Michiel Sullivan

88, Halifax, passed away Friday September 24,2010 in Northwood Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Timothy and Kathleen (Murphy) Sullivan. Robert was a long time resident of Kline Heights. He is survived by brother; Arthur (Lorraine), Halifax; sisters; Grace Topple, Halifax, Marie Devlin, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by brothers Thomas, Leo, Patrick, William, James, Harold and sisters Florence Kausmaul, Margaret Brown. Arrangements under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601) where visitation will be held Sunday September 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral service on Monday September 27,2010 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl Price officiating. Reception to follow, with interment in the Gate Of Heaven Cemetery Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff of the 5th floor of Northwood Centre for the care and compassion given to Robert during his residency.
