Obituary of Theresa Crocker
Crocker, Theresa Marie: 58, Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the VG Site of the QEII Halifax, NS. Born in Halifax, she is a daughter of Alice Muise and the late Gordon Douglas Wilson. Theresa was a woman who always put others first and took care of everyone she loved. She liked to camp and fish and in recent years, enjoyed playing card and board games with James. Theresa loved her family dearly, especially her two boys and her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Edward “Eddie” Crocker, Halifax, and David Crocker and wife Leslea Storey-Crocker, Dartmouth, her mother, Alice Muise, her companion, James Boudreau, goddaughter/niece, Rhonda Husbands, her siblings, Debbie, Marie, Lena, Barb, Allen, Billy and Danny, her former husband, David Crocker M.B., as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. “Nanny T” will be sadly missed by her two treasured grandchildren, Logan and Jaylynn. She was predeceased by her father, Gordon, brother, Gordon Harold Wilson, sister, Karen Ann Wilson, and step-father, James Muise. "We cannot direct the winds, but we can adjust our sails."
Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477-5601), where a memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
