Obituary of Anne Marie MacDonald

MACDONALD (Talbot), Anne Marie: 52, Spryfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with breast cancer on Friday August 27,2010 in the V.G. Site QEII. Born in Beechville Halifax Co., she was an adopted daughter of the late Ida MacDonald. She was raised by Joyce and Kenneth Crawford. Marie had worked as PCW and also was involved wiht the Greystone Recreation Centre for many years. She will truly be missed by husband Emanuel “Manny” Grosse, son; Daman (Melissa); daughter; Shauntelle (Danny); her heart and soul grandson Kendrell; grand daughter Jerzee; the Crawford side of family, brother Kenny Crawford (Tina), Donald Fraser; sister Colleen Crawford (Ricky), Sharon Davis(Art), Lisa Chiola (Mike); the Talbot side of the family brother Craig, Troy, Aaron, Freddie; sister Cheryl, Trudy and twelve nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter Sharon; brother Arthur “Buster” Drummond, Danny Talbot; sister Donelda Crawford and biological mother Mary Darlene (May) Talbot. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax (477-5601) where visitation will be held Wednesday September 1,2010 from 5-7 p.m. followed by memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m.. Interment will be held at a later date.
